Washington County Virginia

Republican Party

Follow us on:

On November 3rd, 2009, the Washington County Republican Party stood with the Republican Party of Virginia adding to the grassroots efforts in an election that culminated in a victorious sweep where our state elected Bob McDonnell as our Governor, Bill Bolling our Lt. Governor and Ken Cuccinelli our Attorney General and grew our majority in the House of Delegates.

On November 2nd 2010  we turn our attention tn the 9th district Congressional House seat where we unseated a 28 yr. Democrat and elected Congressmen Morgan Griffith to represent the 9th District in Washington D.C.

On November 6th 2012 we sent Congressmen Morgan Griffith back for his 2nd term.  In Washington County we beat the Democrats by two to one.in all the races, but Virginia (northern) did not get enough votes to put Mitt Romany/Paul Ryan and George Allen into office.

On November 5th 2013 In Washington County we won in 2 out of 3 Board of Supervisiors races and we beat the Democrates by over two to one in all of the State races, but again Northern Virginia did not get enough votes to put Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson or Mark Obenshine into office.

  Please get involved with our efforts by supporting us financially, volunteering for us and keeping up with the work we are doing in our area to grow the Republican Party and get our candidates elected.

Our party will continue to stand by our common-sense conservative values and principles, fighting for:

  • Lower taxes
  • Less and smaller government
  • Personal responsibility
  • Creating opportunities for anyone
  • Protection of life
  • Empowering families;
  • Defending freedom and liberty
